Growing Together at Harvest

There is a lot to be thankful for at Harvest. It is exciting to see our church grow, watch the progress on the new building, and think about the ministry that will take place there. Here at Harvest Baptist Academy, we share that excitement. We are looking forward to moving into the new space and seeing how it will serve our students, families, and staff.

As we look ahead, though, I keep thinking about the people who have made all of this possible.

Harvest Baptist Academy exists because Harvest Baptist Church has remained committed to Christian education through the years. The academy would not be possible without the church’s faithful support. Behind every classroom, every school day, and every opportunity we offer our students is a church family that has chosen to invest in this ministry.

That investment means more than providing a building. It means praying for our teachers and students, giving faithfully, serving willingly, and recognizing the value of helping young people learn and grow with God’s Word at the center of their education. Much of that support happens quietly, but we see its effects every day.

We see it when a student gains confidence in a subject that has been difficult. We see it when a teacher takes time to encourage a child. We see it as students open their Bibles, ask thoughtful questions, develop practical skills, and learn to use their abilities to serve others.

There is plenty happening at the academy, and it is a joy to watch our students discover what they can do. In our classrooms, shop programs, athletics, and other activities, we want them to develop both competence and character. We want them to learn how to work faithfully, treat people kindly, and honor the Lord in everyday life.

The new building is an exciting next step in that work. Our staff and students are eager to get into it, and we are grateful for the planning, sacrifice, and effort that are bringing it to completion. As we anticipate using those spaces, we also recognize the responsibility to make good use of what our church family has provided.

To everyone at Harvest Baptist Church who has supported the academy over the years, thank you. Your commitment has made a difference in the lives of students and families, and it continues to make a difference today.

It is a privilege to be part of what God is doing at Harvest. We look forward to growing together and faithfully serving the families He brings our way.
